Creative Portfolio 

 "Burnt Film" is a series of hand painted, burnt, bleached and destroyed 35mm slide photos, originally collected from thrift shops and also from my grandfather's collection of hand processed slides.  Using a combination of chemicals, paints and also by physically burning the slides directly, I created new degraded landscapes that expose not just the threads and  structures of the film medium but  also reveal the core emotional layers of the images themselves.
